Emergency
If your request involves an immediate medical crisis or safety concern, please indicate "Emergency" in the subject line of your email. After contacting us, carefully review the automatic response you receive and follow all listed instructions. Please understand that as a NO-KILL rescue, all intakes are space-and-resource-dependent.
Owner Surrender
TOTFP is not an open-intake facility. We are a structured, no-kill rescue with limited space and resources. We prioritize true emergency cases, including medical crisis, safety concerns, or situations involving loss of housing, domestic hardships, or the death of an owner. Physical intake of owner surrenders are considered on a case by case basis, in urgent situations and when all other responsible alternatives have been exhausted. Our goal is to always keep pets safely in their homes whenever possible and to reserve rescue space for animals facing immediate risk.

All physical intake decisions are based on urgency, capacity, available foster placement, and the overall needs of the animals currently in our care. Emergency cases are prioritized accordingly.

While we cannot guarantee physical intake, we are often able to assist through our structured Owner-Foster Program that is explained in the auto email reply you will receive. Please read the information in the auto reply that you will receive fully, as it goes over the foster program that we have available to assist you.
